Caprica

For anyone who is sad that Battlestar Galactica is ending after this season have, of course, heard about the prequel Caprica. Set 50 to 70 years in the future, Caprica is supposed to take place during a time of peace within the Twelve Colonies. It has been said that it is going to give the back story to the creation of the cylons and where the name 'cylon' originated from. The show will focus on Joseph Adama (Admiral Adama's Father and Apollo's Grandfather). Joseph Adam is a renowned civil liberties attorney who investigates the activities of the Graystones, the owners of a computer company who is doing some very suspicious activities with large machines that have red like eyes (the cylons? I don't know...). Right now it is not scheduled to air until this December as a two-hour miniseries-like pilot on Sci Fi, but if the show gets picked up for an entire series, it might get pushed back to 2009.
